Are you or an employee uninsurable? Can't afford health insurance for your employees? Offer the Design Medical Plan. This is not insurance. It is a medical savings plan that utilizes the same rates insurance companies pay for healthcare within the same networks of providers. Insurance companies have organized healthcare providers into PPO's or Preferred Provider Organizations in order to negotiate lower costs for medical services. By contracting with these networks directly, the savings of up to 80% is passed on to the membership. Please see plan for details.

Accident Medical and Accident Dental:
$2,500 per occurrence, 24-hour family coverage, $100 deductible. This is excess coverage.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment – Benefit amount $5,000, 24-hour family coverage. This benefit pays in addition to any existing coverage.

In-Hospital Income Plan – Benefit amount $150 per day, for a maximum of 30 days, zero day waiting period. This coverage will be paid in addition to any other insurance coverage.

In the event a participant suffers from a Certified Injury that requires Emergency Medical Transportation by helicopter in accordance with local EMS protocols, the program will reimburse the participant up to a maximum of $4,000.00 per occurrence. Reimbursement includes expenses incurred from the cost of Medically Necessary or Life Threatening Helicopter Transportation from the scene of an accident to the nearest medical facility capable of treating the injuries or from one medical facility to another medical facility. Claims for Medically Necessary transports from one medical facility to another medical facility are subject to review by Lifeguard’s Medical Officer.

• One benefit will be payable per occurrence

Travel Assist provides 24-hour access to multilingual representatives to assist members with a wide variety of travel related situations such as emergency air evacuation and assistance in obtaining medical care both within the United States and abroad.
